Eric is a Chartered Financial Analyst with an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of Business of the University of Pennsylvania, and has a B.A. in Economics and Management from Beloit College in Beloit, Wisconsin.
His joint venture with a leading commercial radar manufacturer was awarded an AFWERX - Air Force SBIR contract in 2018. One of his portfolio companies has a current STTR contract with the Army in the topic area of GPS Positioning, Navigation and Timing.

Eric has been involved in extensive real estate development activities in Park Slope Brooklyn, where he grew up. Bashford served as Trustee of the Board of Education in Briarcliff Manor, New York from 2009 to 2012. His work on identifying and resolving the school district's severe environmental problems was featured in a major article in the Huffington Post in 2012. He is a past member of the Village of Briarcliff Manor Zoning Board. Eric is Vice Chair of the Wharton Club of New York Real Estate Investment Group.
We were proud to host our first class of partners at our tech incubator in the summer of 2019. These young entrepreneurs worked on projects in the green tech and health tech sector and are an overwhelmingly encouraging sign for the future of our business economy. Their efforts led to project proposals, from two newly formed corporations which were submitted under the Federal Government's SBIR/STTR program to the National Science Foundation and the National Institutes of Health in partnership with subject matter experts at the City University of New York and and the Nathan S. Kline Institute for Psychiatric Research at the New York State Office of Mental Health.
Thomas Adari recently graduated from SUNY Buffalo having majored in Computer Engineering;
Cole Bashford is a senior at Colorado College majoring in Business & Economics;
Alex LoPorto is a senior at Fordham majoring in Business Administration.
Cole and Thomas joined us again in the summer of 2020, working on sponsored research related to a SBIR U.S. Army project.
